House Rules

Hi! We can’t wait to be your hosts and hope you enjoy our property as much as we do. However, we do have to enforce some rules for the safety of our property. We love our neighbors and want to respect them so we ask you to be respectful to our rules. 1. All Pennsylvania Residents must communicate with the host BEFORE booking. 2. The occupancy limit for this property is the same number of guests as your reservation at all times. Violation of this could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without refund. 3. No parties, no loud music, no boisterous behavior. 4. Renters will respect and follow all rules as outlined in the House Rules section. 5. Renters agree to not contact the host until they have read the Welcome Book. (Can be found after arrival) 6. Smoking is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate $200/day penalty fee. ($200 for everyday of the rental period) 7. Unless previously agreed upon with the host, there is a $50 late checkout fee for the first hour and a rate of $100/hr for each hour thereafter. 8. No pets allowed. $200 fine if this rule is broken. 9. If by your fault of breaking any house rules causes a scheduling conflict with other guests. You may be charged the amount owed to discount or refund, said guest. 10. Repeated infractions of the house rules can result in the dispatching of our security team for immediate eviction with no refund. This will result in a $500 penalty additional to any applicable fees. 11. Booking your reservation is your confirmation that you have read and fully agree to the house rules.

We had a great stay in this cozy house! It is in a very quiet location and the outdoor space is spacious and beautiful. The house was incredibly clean and all the furniture was very comfy. There were plenty of supplies provided for the kitchen, as well as for traveling with littles. We will be staying here again the next time we're in the area!

Kathryn was a gracious and proactive host who really cared about making our stay as comfortable as possible. We communicated about the location and the house a couple months before we actually checked in and she was always friendly and went above and beyond. The house itself is perfect and we loved the location. Stepping out to farmland in the morning on a quiet street…. Is something that’ll be hard to leave behind. There were great amenities, and literally everything we needed. Loved the decor, the Bible verses, the little coffee section, the backyard…. All around one of my favorite Airbnbs. We were there for work but I can’t wait to go back just to relax sometime.

This is now the second time we have stayed at this location and enjoyed it even more the second time around. We were travelling into Philadelphia while looking for a place to stay away from the city and this was perfect. I will definitely have to come back again.

We were very pleased with this Airbnb. It accommodated perfectly for what we needed it for. Spacious, clean, and beautiful outdoor scenery. It was peaceful and nicely secluded. This will be saved for future stays if I'm in the area again.

The house was impeccable: clean, clear of clutter, tastefully furnished; lots of comfortable seating areas. The kitchen, super well equipped; we didn't need anything extra. The pool room, a plus in winter. In the Lancaster area, very near, we filled our stay with three great adventures: the Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site; Strasbourg Railroad Museum, and the North Museum of Nature and Science. Around the house, all quiet and peaceful, a great get-away from the big city!

Enjoyed our time here! A very beautiful home, welcoming and warm! Everything was neatly placed, very clean and tidy! Comfortable beds, and such a wonderful family environment. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area! Perfect location for privacy and peace, but not too far from great shops, restaurants, and good scenery! A great stay, if you are in town for the Sight and Sound Theater as well! We really enjoyed our time here, and would love to return soon!

We had a great experience at Woodland Escape. It was so nice and peaceful not to hear airplanes flying over the house or cars passing by. We love spending fall in Pennsylvania. The residence is perfect to a nice calm fall day. Very clean, very nice, the host was very responsive, friendly and respectful. I would definitely recommend this place.
